MEET OUR
a-team

Alisha Gregg
President/CEO, RID, NCIDQ, IIDA
As the owner of bfd interiors, this is my favorite part of the website! It is this section where I’m able to gush about the A-Team of people who work with us and are assigned the pleasure of working together on incredible projects for every single client. Every person with us has the technical credentials, licenses and education needed that you will see with every design firm you review. But I find it’s a bit more interesting for you to see these wonderful people through my heartfelt stories about them, and that little something that makes them quite unique.

Karen Albin
Quoting, Procurement, Logistics Management
“You will be hard-pressed to find someone in the industry who works harder, is more pleasant and humble, and is quicker on delivery…”
Karen Albin
I describe Karen as a checks-and-balances person with a designer’s eye. She negotiates strongly with manufacturers and CSRs to keep them on task and make our clients’ projects a priority in their queue. She assists the designers with special finishes and fabric concerns to bridge the gap between the designer and the vendor. Karen has a brain for literally hundreds of details at a time and takes care of any issues before anyone knows they were even a problem. This includes expediting shipments with our vendors and collaborating with them to ensure our client is getting exactly what they are expecting on time. Karen owned her own company in another city before coming to bfd and approaches her role with a level of ownership and service that is personal on behalf of our clients. She knows how important she is to the logistical success of every project.
Karen is personally invested in our clients’ success. Preparation and execution are her superpowers, wrapped in a bundle of care. She is a knitting master by hobby, which seems apropos for the host of details she knits together for us.

Kirsten Ramirez
Lead Interior Designer, RID, NCIDQ
“She handles complex design puzzles like magic, but let’s be clear: no wand is necessary.”
Kirsten Ramirez
Around the office, she’s earned the nickname “The Fixer”—and honestly, it’s spot-on. Kirsten has a knack for solving the unsolvable, taking on even the most layered technical challenges with precision and calm determination. She handles complex design puzzles like magic, but let’s be clear: no wand is necessary. However, what is sometimes necessary is the company of her pitbull furbaby, Gracie—affectionately known as her “land hippo”—who shows up in everything from cozy sweaters to seasonal costumes, spreading smiles and stealing hearts wherever she goes.
Whether Kirsten is mentoring designers or unraveling problems that have stumped the team for days, she makes the impossible look effortless. She’s the lifeline you never knew you needed, turning chaos into seamless creativity every time.

Lexi Page
Interior Designer
“If creativity had a superhero, Lexi would be wearing the cape (and probably designing it herself).”
Lexi Page
From higher education and healthcare spaces to C-suite offices, Lexi brings a unique blend of artistry and technical skill to every project. Whether she’s specifying furniture, space planning, or orchestrating full design builds—down to the finishes and floorplans—she does it all with a keen eye and a fresh perspective.
Her creativity isn’t just reserved for work; it’s woven into everything she does. A natural artist at heart, she’s just as comfortable with a sketchpad as she is with CAD, and her love for color and detail shines as vibrantly as the tattoos she wears. Add in her humor, kindness, and unwavering support for the team, and it’s clear—Lexi doesn’t just design spaces, she brings them to life.

Shandi Warren
Interior Designer
“Affectionately known as ‘The Great Shandini,’ she’s our go-to for finding answers, uncovering details, and making sure every base is covered.”

Whether she’s crafting the perfect layout, managing resources, or bringing fresh ideas to the table, her infectious energy fuels both projects and client collaborations. Sarah Alkhattari
Interior Designer
“Sarah brings a touch of international flair to the bfd a-team—think Red Raider meets design explorer.”
Sarah Alkhattari
Now based in Austin, Texas, Sarah works remotely as an interior designer, but you’d never know she’s not right down the hall. From day one, she’s been like a sponge—soaking up everything about bfd interiors and diving in fast and fearlessly. She picks things up quickly, applies them easily, and supports both clients and teammates with a contagious energy, making collaboration feel effortless.
Around the office, she’s simply known as The Quirk-Itect—a nickname earned for her playful approach to problem-solving and offbeat creativity. Her designs strike that rare balance between functionality and personality, tailored thoughtfully to each client’s unique needs and style.
She blends seamlessly with the bfd a-team, always eager to lend a hand to fellow designers and bring joy into the process. Even from miles away, she lights up the office with her energy, humor, and unwavering positivity, bringing levity to the work and reminding us that design can (and should) be fun.

Her thoroughness, organization, and next-level project management set the standard for excellence at bfd interiors. Overdelivering isn’t just something she does—it’s her default setting. Whether she’s guiding a client through the design process, coordinating logistics, or keeping complex projects on track, she brings a level of precision that ensures no detail is left to chance.
Outside of work, you’ll find her tending to her goats, chickens, cats, and an ever-growing list of farm animals and plants. But even from miles away, she brings warmth, inclusivity, and a midwestern charm that keeps staff meetings lively. Her ability to make every team member and client feel connected, no matter the distance, makes her an irreplaceable part of the bfd a-team.

Misty Hill
Account Manager
“When Misty walks into a room in high heels, of course—you know things are about to get done.”
Misty Hill
Her “high heels, higher standards” approach isn’t just a tagline—it’s how she operates. Misty sets the bar high, whether she’s advocating for her clients, pushing a project across the finish line, or making sure every detail is flawless. She’s equal parts direct communicator and problem-solver, bringing both style and substance to every project she manages.
A powerhouse with a sassy edge, Misty keeps the bfd interiors team on their toes (sometimes literally, trying to keep up with her). She doesn’t just manage projects—she elevates them. And if you ever need a little extra motivation? You’ll likely find one of her favorite quotes scribbled on a notecard, keeping her (and everyone around her) inspired.

Katharine Johnson

Katharine Johnson
Katharine blends that rare mix of creative force and analytical precision as the head of business development and marketing at bfd interiors. Balancing bold ideas with data-backed strategy, she’s the engine behind our bold personality—building strategy, systems, presentations, and content. Shaping bfd’s voice, fueling our growth, and driving our heartfelt community outreach with thought and intention.
She’s the spark that keeps things moving—bright, thoughtful, and just unpredictable enough to keep it interesting. From boldly forging direction (see what we did there 😉) to constantly reimagining the brand, the experience, and the energy behind it all, Katharine brings a mix of heart, humor, and hustle to everything she does.

Holly Sullivan
Accountant
“Holly keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes—from processing invoices to taming rogue receipts—and makes it look easy.”
Holly Sullivan
Juggling spreadsheets, receipts, and reconciliations is no small feat, especially when you’re the keeper of every employee credit card (a role that might be the true test of sainthood). Somehow, Holly keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes—from processing invoices to taming rogue receipts—and makes it look easy.
She’s a multi-office money wrangler, budget balancer, and a quiet force amidst the chaos. Whether it’s closing the books or answering someone’s tenth, “Wait, did I turn that in?” email, Holly handles it all with patience, precision, and just the right amount of sass.
